Betsy attended her first yoga class in 1998 while a senior in college at the University of Illinois. An avid attendee of group exercise classes since college she found something different with yoga. For her it started as a way to stretch sore and tight muscles. Over time this lead her to a regular yoga practice. She took Jeani Mackenzie’s teacher training in 2006 and has been teaching yoga ever since. Betsy encourages people to start where their body is today and consistently come to class. She hopes everyone leaves her class feeling better then when they walked through the door.
