I have taught workshops  on the west coast of Australia.  Many of the teachers presently teaching in the QCA have been certified by me.  My mission is to inspire people to practice and heal as individuals in all areas -mind, body, spirit, and want you to embrace a responsibility to include the diversity of students. Massage and Other Therapies

Recent studies have shown massage to reduce heart rate, lower blood pressure, increase circulation and lymph flow, relax muscles and increase endorphins (enhancing medical treatments). It is estimated that up to ninety percent of disease is stress related. Massage can, without a doubt, help manage stress and increase overall health and well being.

Getting a massage can do you a world of good, and frequent massage can do even more. This is the beauty of bodywork. Taking advantage of regularly scheduled self-care, can play a huge part in how healthy and youthful you feel. Budgeting time and money for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health.

Reiki Treatment

Reiki, a specific type of subtle energy work, is performed by the touch of the hands, allowing the flow of the energy from a limitless source (God Force) to the client via the Reiki practitioner.
Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to relax and harmonize.
Unlike other therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.

Reiki energy can have several basic effects: it can bring about deep relaxation, destroy energy blockages, detoxify the system, provide new vitality in the form of universal like energy, and increase the vibrational frequency of the body.  Contact Dan David  at 309-269-1746 or 5elementsayc@gmail.com for more details

Reflexology Treatment

Reflexology treatments are based on the principal the certain parts of the body reflect the whole. Points, which correspond to all parts of the body, can be found in the feet, hands and ears. When gentle, massaging pressure is applied, the body’s own healing processes are stimulated. The body progressively clears blockages, and refines balance and energy flow. This is a subtle yet powerful technique.

Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coaching

According to Ayurveda, we are made up of the five elements (Ether,Air,Fire,Water,Earth)and those elements determine our Doshas of Vata, Pitta, Kapha or a combination of them. During our life, our lifestyle habits and other environmental influences cause our Dosha to become imbalanced. Those imbalances over time bring about dis-ease in our bodies and life. Working with the client, though a process of confidential interviews the Ayuvedic Yoga Specialist will identify the weak and strong points of your individuality. From there an individualized program combining both yoga and other lifestyle changes will be provided that will be used to apply its balancing elements to your diet, lifestyle and environments.   Contact Dan David  at 309-269-1746 or 5elementsayc@gmail.com for more details

Shirodhara Treatment

Shirodhara is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy. Warm oil pours in a continuous stream over the forehead or ‘third eye’, an area where nerves are highly concentrated. The pressure of the oil onto the forehead creates a vibration. The oil saturates the forehead and scalp and penetrates into the nervous system. The gentle pressure and soothing warmth of the oil allow the body, mind and nervous system to experience a deep state of rest, similar to a deep meditative state.  Shirodhara can help relieve symptoms of anxiety, stress, fatigue and hypertension. It relieves tension, worry, fear and headache as well as depression. It regulates mood and gives feelings of pleasure and relaxation.

Cost is $50/session, by appointment.
